Getting Started with DramGuest
Create immersive brand experiences, manage guests, and run SMS campaigns with DramGuest — the hospitality and brand activation platform.
Getting Started with DramGuest
DramGuest is the hospitality and brand experience platform at the heart of DramWell. It powers QR-driven brand activations, guest data capture, SMS marketing campaigns, and real-time analytics for consumer brands, venues, and experiential events. If you are running tasting experiences, promotional activations, or loyalty programs, DramGuest is where you build and manage them.
This guide gets you from first login to a live experience with a scannable QR code.
Prerequisites
- A DramGuest account provisioned by your DramWell account manager
- Your brand assets: logo, primary color hex, and any product imagery
- A phone number for SMS campaigns (provisioned via your admin — contact support if not yet assigned)
- At least one event or venue in mind for your first experience
What You Can Do
- QR experiences — build branded landing pages triggered by QR code scans with age-gate, consent capture, and multimedia content
- Guest management — searchable guest profiles with scan history, preferences, and engagement data
- Brand activations — multi-step flows combining welcome screens, product education, games, and calls to action
- SMS campaigns — segment guests and send targeted messages with opt-in compliance built in
- Analytics dashboard — real-time scan volume, conversion funnels, geographic heatmaps, and opt-in rates
- Multi-brand support — manage multiple brands or clients from one account with isolated data per brand
First Steps
1. Log In to DramGuest
Navigate to app.dramwell.ai and sign in. If your organization has multiple brands configured, you will see a brand picker on login — select the brand you want to work with first.
2. Configure Your Brand Profile
Go to Settings > Brand and complete your brand profile:
- Upload your logo (PNG or SVG, minimum 200x200px)
- Set your primary and accent colors
- Add your website URL and social handles
- Configure your age-gate setting (on/off and minimum age)
- Set your consent language for guest data capture
This profile is applied to all experiences and guest-facing communications for this brand.
3. Create Your First Experience
Go to Experiences > New Experience and select a template or start blank. Configure:
- Name — internal label for this experience
- Headline and description — what guests see on the landing page
- Flow steps — age gate, welcome screen, product showcase, quiz, or call to action
- Data capture fields — name, email, phone, date of birth, preferences (only collect what you need)
- Redirect URL — where guests go after completing the flow (optional)
Preview your experience on mobile before saving.
4. Generate a QR Code
After saving your experience, go to the QR Codes tab and click Generate QR Code. You can create:
- A standard QR linking to the experience URL
- A print-ready version with your logo embedded in the center
- A batch of unique codes (for tracking individual placements or items)
Download as SVG or PNG. The QR is live immediately after generation — no publishing step required.
5. Test the Guest Flow
Scan your QR code with your phone. Walk through the full guest flow as a real guest would. Verify:
- The age gate fires if configured
- All data capture fields appear and validate correctly
- The completion screen shows the right message
- The redirect URL (if set) works correctly
Check Analytics > Recent Scans to confirm your test scan was recorded.
6. View Guest Analytics
Go to Analytics > Overview to see your experience performance. Key metrics include:
- Total scans and unique guests
- Completion rate by step
- Opt-in rate for SMS and email
- Scan volume by time of day and location
Guest profiles created by scans are available under Guests — each profile shows scan history, contact info, and consent status.
7. Send Your First SMS Campaign
Go to Campaigns > New Campaign. Select:
- Audience — all guests, a saved segment, or guests from a specific experience
- Message — keep it under 160 characters for a single SMS segment; personalization tokens like
{{first_name}}are supported - Send time — immediately or scheduled
Review the recipient count and compliance summary, then click Send. Delivery and click-through results appear in Campaigns > Reports within minutes.
