Getting Started with DramPulse
Configure online booking, build your services catalog, and manage clients and staff on DramPulse — the wellness and salon platform.
Getting Started with DramPulse
DramPulse is the all-in-one platform for wellness studios, salons, spas, and medspas. It handles appointment booking, client management, services and pricing configuration, staff scheduling, and marketing campaigns from a single dashboard — so you can focus on delivering great experiences instead of managing software.
This guide takes you from first login to your first bookable service.
Prerequisites
- A DramPulse account provisioned by your DramWell account manager
- Your business address and contact information
- A list of your services, durations, and prices
- Staff names and their service specializations
- A Stripe account (or willingness to create one) for payment processing
What You Can Do
- Online booking — a branded booking page where clients self-schedule 24/7
- Client management — profiles with appointment history, notes, intake forms, and contact preferences
- Services catalog — define services with duration, pricing, and staff assignments
- Staff scheduling — set staff availability, block time, and view individual calendars
- Point of sale — collect payment at checkout, apply discounts, and sell retail products
- Marketing — automated appointment reminders, win-back campaigns, and birthday messages
- Reporting — revenue by service, staff utilization, client retention, and booking source analytics
First Steps
1. Log In to DramPulse
Navigate to pulse.dramwell.ai and sign in with the credentials from your welcome email. On first login you will be guided through an onboarding checklist — you can complete it now or skip ahead to this guide.
2. Complete Your Business Profile
Go to Settings > Business and fill in:
- Business name, address, and phone number
- Business hours for each day of the week
- Booking window (how far in advance clients can book)
- Cancellation policy (shown on the booking page and confirmation emails)
- Logo and brand color for your client-facing booking page
3. Connect Stripe for Payments
Go to Settings > Payments and click Connect Stripe. Follow the Stripe onboarding flow to link your existing account or create a new one. Once connected, you can:
- Require a card on file to hold appointments
- Charge deposits at booking
- Collect full or partial payment at checkout
4. Add Your Services
Go to Services > New Service and create each service you offer. For each service, set:
- Service name and category (Hair, Skin, Massage, Nails, etc.)
- Duration in minutes
- Price and any deposit amount
- Whether it can be booked online or is staff-assigned only
- Buffer time before and after (for room turnover or prep)
Repeat for all services. You can organize them into categories that appear as sections on your booking page.
5. Add Staff and Set Availability
Go to Team > Add Staff Member and enter each person's name, email, and role. Assign the services each staff member performs — clients will select a preference at booking.
Then go to Team > [Staff Name] > Schedule and set their regular weekly hours. Add any recurring days off or exceptions. Staff can also manage their own availability via the DramPulse staff portal.
6. Configure Your Booking Page
Go to Booking > Settings to customize your client-facing booking page:
- Set a custom slug (e.g.,
pulse.dramwell.ai/book/your-salon) - Choose whether to show staff selection at booking or assign automatically
- Enable or disable the client intake form
- Add a booking confirmation message
Share your booking link with clients or embed it on your website.
7. Create Your First Appointment
Go to Calendar > New Appointment to manually book a client. Select:
- Client (create a new profile or search existing)
- Service
- Staff member
- Date and time
Click Book. The client will receive a confirmation email with a calendar invite and a link to reschedule or cancel according to your policy.
