QR Experiences
Create QR codes that launch AI-powered brand experiences — surveys, activations, loyalty captures, and interactive content — directly from a guest's phone.
Overview
QR Experiences are the foundation of DramGuest. Each experience is a QR code tied to an AI-powered conversation or interactive flow that guests trigger from their own device — no app download, no friction. A guest scans the code, answers a few questions, sees personalized content, and you capture their profile and consent in the background.
Use QR Experiences for table activations, event check-ins, product demos, loyalty sign-ups, or any touchpoint where you want a richer guest interaction than a static web page.
Key Concepts
Experience — A named flow consisting of a welcome prompt, an AI conversation script or decision tree, a capture form, and a completion action (redirect, coupon, etc.).
QR Code — A generated image linked to a specific experience. Codes are permanent by default; you can rotate them if needed without losing analytics history.
Flow Type — DramGuest supports three flow types:

Capture Form — An optional gate before or after the experience that collects name, email, phone, and consent. Collected data populates the Guest Management module automatically.
How It Works
Creating an Experience
- Go to QR Experiences > New Experience.
- Choose a flow type: Conversation, Survey, or Activation.
- Name the experience and set its brand (if you manage multiple brands under one org).
- Configure the AI script or upload your activation assets.
- Add a capture form if guest data collection is required.
- Set a completion action — redirect to a URL, show a coupon code, or display a thank-you screen.
- Click Publish. DramGuest generates a QR code and a shareable link instantly.
Configuring the AI Conversation
In the Script tab, write your opening prompt and define the conversation parameters. DramGuest's AI layer handles branching and follow-up questions automatically based on guest replies. You can:
- Set topic boundaries (keep the AI on-brand and on-topic)
- Define capture triggers (e.g., collect email after the guest expresses purchase interest)
- Add product or menu knowledge so the AI can answer questions accurately
Downloading and Deploying QR Codes
From the experience detail page, click Download QR to get a print-ready PNG or SVG. Use the size selector to generate codes optimized for table tents, posters, wristbands, or digital screens.
QR codes can also be embedded directly in email campaigns using the Copy Embed Link option.
Monitoring Scans in Real Time
The experience card on the dashboard shows live scan counts, conversation completion rates, and capture form submissions. Click into any experience for a full analytics breakdown.
Tips
- Test your experience by scanning the QR code yourself before deploying it at an event — confirm the flow, the capture form, and the completion screen all render correctly on mobile.
- For brand activations at loud venues, keep the AI conversation short (3–4 exchanges max) and front-load the most impactful content.
- Use the duplicate function to clone an existing experience as a starting point for new activations.
